The feminist book they tried to ban in France‘A delightful book’ Roxane Gay Women, especially feminists and lesbians, have long been accused of hating men. Our instinct is to deny it at all costs. (After all, women have been burnt at the stake for admitting to less.)
But what if mistrusting men, disliking men – and yes, maybe even hating men – is, in fact, a useful response to sexism? What if such a response offers a way out of oppression, a means of resistance? What if it even offers a path to joy, solidarity and sisterhood?
In this sparkling essay, as mischievous and provocative as it is urgent and serious, Pauline Harmange interrogates modern attitudes to feminism and makes a rallying cry for women to find a greater love for each other – and themselves.

Very basic but a good summary with good examples to rekindle the man hating flame and why women feel the way they do! Short and to the point

I've really enjoyed reading this book by Pauline Harmange. It's such a thought provoking extract that depicts the dirty minded, sexist, and ignorant society we live in where men are always the leaders and the power holders. I can feel her pain and rage cz I totally have the same rage and I feel deeper in my soul an endless anger towards all the sexist. I believe the author forgot to highlight a very important thing which is the sexist women who, in my eyes, are more dangerous than men. Those who worship men and take women down . I'm totally against the theory of sisterhood that classifies women in one section. There are women who don't deserve this honour as they are the ones who raised those sexist men and encourage them to pollute our generation. One may think that they're victims themselves but it's not my problem if they're victims or not. If they were truly victims, I believe they won't encourage their sons to be sexist and powerful while taking down their daughters
