Hunted in Alaska

In Alaska, a man's body is discovered in a dry riverbed. He is quickly identified as a South Korean police officer who had entered the state to conduct a personal investigation. His presence raises many questions: what was he doing there, alone, so far from home? The investigation, led by the Alaska State Police, reveals that the victim was searching for his sister, who had gone missing after being kidnapped and sold into a prostitution ring operating in the State. The case brings to light a discreet but deeply entrenched trafficking operation that exploits the geographical remoteness and isolation of certain communities. As they try to locate the young Korean woman, the investigators discover that she has been kidnapped by another, even more dangerous criminal. A serial killer is on the loose in the area. He abducts vulnerable women, flies them to remote places deep in the Alaskan interior, and then releases them into the wilderness to hunt them down like game.
