How to Date a Black Girl

Taylor Coleman prides herself on being a “good girl.” She’s gone to the right schools, is on the partner track and now in her mid-thirties, she’s finally dating the right woman. But when her ex-girlfriend Megan Barkin, a reckless charmer, moves back to town, Taylor begins second-guessing her carefully curated life.

In the years since their break-up, Taylor’s worked hard to put Megan out of her mind. Even with 3,000 miles between them, it hasn’t been easy, so at first she’s wary about Megan’s return. But Taylor finds herself entranced once again by Megan’s worldliness and ease.

When Megan dangles their college dream of opening an art gallery together as a real possibility, Taylor has a decision to make.
