His Polaris

When I picked up a contract from the Irish mob, I had one job to do. Bring back the boss’s daughter. Simple. Or at least it should have been, but then I met her. A tiny redhead with a fiery personality. She should have been scared. When a man with a reputation as dark as mine takes you, most people would be scared. But not her. She sassed me and acted like it was just another day. She was unaware of her critical error that day—she intrigued me.

When a stranger leaves me a life-changing amount of money in her will, I’m ready to kiss my days of living paycheck to paycheck goodbye. I quit my unfulfilling, low-paying job. Unfortunately, I didn’t realize there was a waiting period before I would get the money, and when my house caught fire, I was in real trouble. While trying to decide how I’m going to afford to stay at a low-end hotel, a dark, mysterious stranger abducts my grumpy cat and me. He thinks I’m someone else, and doesn't believe me when I tell him I'm not her, so I decide to play along. Besides, he wouldn’t have brought my cat if he was going to hurt me, right?

His Polaris is a mafia romance featuring a morally gray hero and a sassy heroine who go on a cross-country road trip filled with unexpected humor and fall in love along the way. These characters are unhinged in their own unique ways and don’t behave like ordinary people.

What to expect…
