A city that sleeps on secrets…

After her mother dies, Ella is swept away to live with an aunt she's never met, in a town she's never heard of, in a life she never wanted.

All she has left of her mother is an old jewelry box.

An old jewelry box where she finds a hidden compartment. And in that hidden compartment…papers. Unfinished stories her mother was writing. Which would be sweet.

Except that as she begins reading them, Ella starts hearing voices. And—let’s be honest—that’s never great.

Even less great? The fact that a serial killer with a penchant for silver bullets seems to be moving closer and closer to their sleepy little town. A town that wakes up with every full moon.

As the killer draws closer and the town gets spookier, Ella must trust the voices only she can hear—to save the town from an ancient curse. Or should she be saving the curse from an ancient town?

With her new friend Sam questioning whether the voices are helping or hunting them, Ella's running out of time to prove she's not losing her mind…or leading them into a trap as old as fairy tales themselves.
