About the Author:

Craig Wilson lives in Marshfield, Vermont with his two wonderful children, Evelyn and Solomon. He loves the natural world and likes to stargaze, read, and writes almost every day. Wilson was an educator in various grades and settings for twenty years and has always loved "storytime."

About the Artist:

Brittany Lumsden is a mother and an artist who works from her home studio in Wolcott, Vermont surrounded by forest and wildlife. She works in many mediums and loves to teach, create, and share art.

Creating the illustrations for this story took her back to her childhood memories of running through the damp grass and catching fireflies.
