Three months ago, four words changed my life forever.

My life was perfect. Late nights at the office, a penthouse on the Upper East Side, a new woman in my bed every night. Then I got a knock at the door, and everything changed. And all it took was four words: you have a daughter. In a whirlwind, we moved back to my hometown. I needed to be surrounded by family, by people who could help me cope with the fact I was now a single father to a grief-stricken twelve-year-old. All I wanted was help. I never expected to fall in love with my sister's best friend. Our relationship was built in secret, in late-night texts and in lingering glances.
