Fakta
The lochs, wells and springs of Scotland and what was believed about them - the healing wells, the rag trees, the saints' pools and the offerings still being left. Mackinlay walked to a great many of them. This edition is bound with a gallery of 60 plates of paintings, among them works by J. M. W. Turner, John Everett Millais and John Watson Gordon, dating from 1800 to 1907.
