It the most translated work but be,

A literary text of India is certainly;

With over 200 versions universally,

In over 50 languages in actuality.

This a Nitishastra; treatise clearly,

On political science, conduct be;

Written as stories to instruct only,

Three dull ignorant princes in polity;

Based on Dharma, Artha shastra be,

Answering most questions clearly;

How to achieve bliss in life fully,

With growth of man harmoniously.

How to lead a pleasant life plainly,

With determined action, security;

Yet showered with friendship be,

Good learning, wisdom, prosperity.
