What you are dealing with is real.

You are not weak. Your ancient brain decided you were in danger when many eyes turned toward you, and it prepared your body to fight a tiger.

The reason you cannot logic your way out of this fear is that it does not live in the part of your brain that responds to logic. It lives in the amygdala. In the world your ancestors lived in, being stared at by many sets of eyes at the same time meant one thing. You were either being challenged by your tribe, or being stalked by predators. Either way, it was a survival threat. Your amygdala has not updated. Knowing the audience is friendly has not helped, because all that knowledge is happening in the wrong part of the brain.

To rewire the response, we have to reach the layer where the response lives. The subconscious.
