I know what you’re probably thinking: the title of this book is just a marketing device. Well, yes and no.

A good title that attracts attention is an effective marketing device, true enough. And I’m not above using tools and techniques to my advantage. But the title is more than that.

F---- luck is my way of saying, yes, luck is a good thing. And if you get some, great. But if luck doesn’t show up? F--- it. You do not need to be lucky to have a great life.

What Is Bad Luck?

What do these two things have in common? Both scenarios are completely out of your control. Waiting for good luck to arrive is as ridiculous as waiting for Brad Pitt to arrive. Trying to avoid bad luck is as ridiculous as moving because Brad Pitt might drive through your wall someday.

Success is not dependent on a lucky roll of the dice. Wealth does not need to be inherited. Health can be achieved by virtually anyone.

Happiness isn’t something you find, it’s a decision. You don’t need Las Vegas. You don’t need the lottery.
