ABOUT THE ORIGINAL BOOK
“Scythe” by Neal Shusterman is set in a future society where immortality has been achieved, eliminating natural death. To control the population, a group called the Scythedom is responsible for "gleaning" people, deciding who lives and who dies. The story follows two teenagers, Citra and Rowan, who are chosen to become apprentices to a scythe.
