“God’s Country” with The Brothers Hunt (brothers Dan and Reid Isbell) is a rollicking weekly podcast that sits at the intersection of country music and the great outdoors. Each episode explores how today’s biggest and most talented country stars and songwriters pull inspiration from rugged, first-hand relationships with the natural world. Nashville songwriters by profession who spent their childhoods getting muddy in the wilds of Tennessee, Dan and Reid draw on their own passion for hunting and fishing to lead a thought-provoking and fun exploration of the fundamental role of outdoor living in country music.

This week The Brothers Hunt host multiplatinum artist, Ty Myers, on God's Country Podcast. They cover everything from Willie Nelson's influence on his music to Ty going on the hunt of a lifetime with his dad to what it was like growing up in Texas. I Had Some Help, Farm Life, and Freestyling with ERNEST

This week The Brothers Hunt host hit songwriter and artist buddy, Jameson Rodgers out in God's Country. They dive in first discussing the song that is currently taking over Nashville that Jameson is a co-writer on. He dives in on the creative process of "McArthur" and gives the behind-the-scenes of how it came to fruition. They discuss how deer hunting has evolved for them over the years with getting older and how the things that are the most meaningful from it now are not the same as they once were. Jameson shares his journey from pursuing an artist career full time to now focusing on writing songs and releasing music for more creative reasons. The episode ends with a Morgan Wallen tune you may know that Jameson co-wrote.

McArthur, Mississippi, and Dad Life with Jameson Rodgers

This week The Brothers Hunt host NFL Quarterback CJ Beathard and Hit Songwriter/Artist, Tucker Beathard, out in God's Country. This episode encompasses everything from faith to brother battles to everything in between. Cj and Tucker share the highs and lows of the music industry and the NFL, while also sharing what they have learned over the last 10 years in each respective industry. CJ tells how he kept Tucker from getting kicked out of school and Tucker elaborates on how a last minute conversation with his dad kept him from going to college. CJ and Tucker share how the loss of their brother has been the hardest thing they have ever endured, but also given them the opportunity to know Jesus in a way that they didn't know was possible. The episode ends with Tucker covering his gravorite, which happens to be written by his Hall of Fam songwriter dad.
