Dexter Finds a New Home

Dexter Finds a New Home tells the story of one young woman finding her best friend in a puppy named Dexter. After spotting a very snuggly black and white Shih Tzu puppy at the shelter, Briana decides to adopt him and take him home. At first, her new puppy “Dexter” feels overwhelmed by his new home, but soon he becomes happy and even begins to bark!

About the Author:

Donna Koehler is a New York native. She has a bachelor’s degree in business and enjoyed a lengthy career in the automotive lease industry for nearly twenty-five years. After becoming aware of the stray cats in her neighborhood, she began feeding them and caring for them during the colder months. This experience has ignited Koehler’s passion for stray animals and the shelters that take them in and has inspired her to write her first book, Dexter Finds a New Home.
