3 stjerner for handling og en stjerne ekstra for en rigtig god oplæser. Kort lidt forudsigelig historie som alligevel formår at gribe ens interesse meget hurtigt. Hovedrollerne taget tidseperioden i mente forelsker sig ekstremt hurtigt og bryder mange af samfundets dengang ret puritanske regler, men- man kan ikke lade være med at følge parret og glæde sig. De mørkere elementer er ej så voldsomme som forventet og skurken er en ret klassisk ond satan rent ud sagt. God historie med en rigtig god oplæser.
