Coral Throne: Royal Guard Fake Relationship Sapphic High Fantasy

Othella's throne is days from collapse. Her father is dead, a coup is rising, and the court is watching her every move for weakness. Her solution is unconventional, to say the least: summon Karys, the exiled warrior banished to the crushing trenches, and present her as the royal betrothed.

Karys is scarred, lethal, and carrying years of resentment toward the crown that discarded her. A fake engagement was not how she imagined returning. But the terms are clear, and she accepts.

What follows is anything but cold. Performing devotion for a suspicious court requires proximity, and proximity between two women with this much tension between them has consequences. Stolen touches that linger past the performance. Heated glances across throne rooms that have nothing to do with politics. Every line between pretense and actual desire develops cracks neither of them can ignore.

The threats don't pause for any of this. Assassination attempts. Ancient dangers rising from the abyss below the kingdom. A court full of smiling people with knives behind their backs. Othella and Karys have to navigate all of it while managing an obsession that's become both their sharpest weapon and their most exposed vulnerability.

Behind closed doors, the performance stops and something rawer takes over entirely.

A sapphic romance built on regal tension, explosive desire, and the particular danger of pretending not to feel what you clearly feel.

Will their bond save the kingdom, or burn straight through it?

From high-stakes research labs to sun-drenched pirate coves and ancient coral thrones, these are tales of obsession, forbidden alliances, and a heat so intense it could boil the ocean.
