Congress Leader Tom Vadakkan Joins BJP & More Election Updates From 14 March

Congress leader Tom Vadakkan joined the Bharatiya Janata Party on 14 March, in the presence of Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad. Vadakkan was always believed to be a close aide of Sonia Gandhi. In fact, Vadakkan was once the national spokesperson of Congress and even a former secretary of the AICC.

Next, the NCP announced a list of their candidates for the 2019 Lok Sabha Elections. The list includes Supriya Sule from Baramati, Sanjay Dina Patil from Mumbai North East, Anand Paranjpe from Thane, Sunil Tatkare from Raigad and Mohammad Faisal from Lakshadweep.
