When the dreams came, Kara Manning thought they were just nightmares of blood, murder, and destruction. A product of too much pizza and action movies on her new TV. She never imagined that they were far more.

When she began subtly changing her dreams with minor changes in her waking life, she reluctantly began to believe she was a prophet of the pending apocalypse.

She was a receptionist, a nobody trying to get by. Her dreams of red skies had turned to nightmares and then to prophecy.
