In day-to-day life, there are innumerable incidents of ordinary people doing extraordinary acts silently. This book is precisely meant to bring to light the extraordinary contribution of ordinary people, who dedicated their lives for decades for a cause. The book contains the life stories from each State/Union Territory. It is only a sample. If we start searching, we will find hundreds of such lives throughout the country, who are doing yeoman service through their dedication. Hence, such persons are the Real Icons of our Nation, as they are Real Heroes and not Reel Heroes. The inspiring life stories are not from the past, but from the present and hence we are sure that it will give hope and inspiration to the readers. The stories were compiled by Sri A. Ramakrishna Prasad during the first corona lock down in the year 2020.
