In this episode of Audio Signals, we look at the moon, the stars, and we get inspired to know what is out there.
Our guide and inspiration for this voyage is @Astro_Jaz (AKA Jasmine Singh), a Planetary Science student with a double major in Atmospheric Science. If you haven’t figured it out yet, she REALLY loves space!
We talk about the many reasons why space is so fascinating and why we keep looking up at the sky since the dawn of humanity; what motivates us to venture out there; what we know and what we are trying to learn about our neighbors' planets and those much farther away.
Her many interests range from planetary (and exoplanetary) atmospheres to astrobiology. As a matter of fact, we ended up talking quite a bit about the search for other forms of life in our solar system and beyond.
Since when she was a little earthling, Jasmine would look at the sky with so much wonder, envisioning humans living on the moon and watching down at us on Earth. Now, she is making her dreams come true by studying what she loves and hoping to work for NASA real soon — she is already an intern there.
Thank you for spending time with us and sharing your passion with our audience. We truly enjoyed this conversation.
A toast to many more podcasts with you!
