Finally… finally, humanity began to wake up. Finally, they decided to take science, knowledge, politics, development, multiple angles and perspectives, and the details of our everyday lives a bit more seriously. For centuries, raw and primal urges and principles had taken hold of conquerors, officials, and governments. But there was a light at the end of the tunnel. The Age of Enlightenment (also called the Age of Reason or just the Enlightenment) was an intellectual and philosophical movement in Europe at the time of the 18th century that controlled the world of ideas. The Enlightenment promoted concepts like liberty, development, toleration, fraternity, constitutional federal government, and separation of faith and state by concentrating on the pursuit of joy, the sovereignty of reason, and the proof of the senses as primary sources of knowledge.

Do we really realize how this was an inevitable age in mankind’s history, to pave the way for machines, electricity, internet, devices, and everything we know about technology, print, philosophy, art, music, and thinking patterns today?
