Nellie edits books for a living but rewriting her own story is proving harder. After losing her husband in her twenties, Nellie thought her happily ever after was gone for good. But when a brown-eyed client named Daniel walks into her life—and her heart—she starts to believe in second chances.

When her dream job at a literary agency opens up, Nellie will do anything to win it… especially with a maddeningly perfect rival gunning for the same role. As the competition turns cutthroat, Nellie must decide if she’s willing to risk the career she’s fought for or hold on to the love she never expected to find again.

(Note to the listener: Though A Work in Attraction is a standalone short-story, chronologically, it takes place between chapters 6 & 7 in A Work in Progress. You do not need to have listened to or read A Work in Progress to enjoy A Work in Attraction.)
