A Russian Got Me: Vladimir

Vladimir is twenty years younger than me, not my type, and way out of my league.

So, considering all that, I really shouldn't care. He's a handyman and his brute smell should be my cue to run far away.

Today is Valentine's Day and the young man will come by to repair some things in my backyard.

He said he was coming early, but he's late, probably thinking I'm some old woman who has time on her hands.

He's now arrived and for some reason, today feels eery. I'm flirting with him for once.

My lingering stares and blushing face are giveaways while he's sanding down my picnic table.

But only for today…

I really shouldn't be looking at his muscles contract up and down while he beats the wood on my things.

My last relationship was enough.

Maybe I could use a break, anyway…
