Endnu en fremragende bog i Folletts Pillars serie. Den virker lidt tungere i starten end de to første, men bliver medrivende og virker meget motiverende for den historiske interesse. Sætter mange tanker igang om os som mennesker og de uhyrligheder vi udsætter hinanden for i religionens navn.

Endnu engang leverer Ken Follet en fuldstændig fantastisk historisk roman! Det er virkelig imponerende, hvordan han kan gøre historien så levende og menneskelig! Man er underholdt og interesseret hele vejen igennem på trods af at rejsen er 30 timer lang, hvilket er et sandt bevis på Ken Follets talent for at fortælle historier.
