13. Raise the Titanic

White Star dispatch a funeral ship to begin recovering Titanic’s dead. The surviving crew return to Britain and try to move on with their lives. 11. The Titanic Inquiry

As RMS Carpathia arrives on the scene Titanic’s survivors are hauled aboard. Bruce Ismay retreats to a private cabin, refusing to speak to his fellow passengers. Rumours swirl on land as word of the disaster reaches New York and Washington. Titanic’s radio operator gets a life changing offer. And as Carpathia approaches Manhattan, the press are already figuring where to pin the blame…

10. Safe at Last…

Titanic’s chief baker pulls off a miraculous drunken escape. Fierce rows break out as to whether to go back and search for survivors. Jimmy McGann balances on top of an upturned lifeboat, while a British baronet offers money to the crew in another. And as the cries of the dying subside, the lucky ones wait desperately for sunrise…

8. Every Man for Himself

7. Women and Children First

An hour after hitting the iceberg Titanic has come to a dead stop. The still-slumbering passengers are told the ship is sinking, but many of them refuse to believe it. Wireless operators Phillips and Bride continue their attempts to summon help. 6. Save Our Souls

First Officer Murdoch takes evasive action, attempting to swerve around the iceberg. As Titanic sustains multiple hull breaches, water starts flooding in. 5. The Moment of Impact

A retirement party is held in Captain Smith’s honour. But as ice warnings come in over the radio, he must decide what to do about them. The richest man on board and his mistress do their best to dodge scandal. Titanic’s engines are put through their paces, as passengers place bets on how fast the ship can go. And at 11.39pm, on Sunday April 14th, something large is spotted, dead ahead…

4. Iceberg Dead Ahead

Titanic stops off in France and Ireland to pick up more passengers, and wine. Economic migrants from Sweden and the Middle East come on board, setting out for a new life in America. Dinner is served, as Titanic’s very own ‘ice man’ helps out with cocktails and desserts. And the passengers settle down to their first night at sea. But one woman - wracked with dread - has no intention of sleeping…
