In America, the “speed of science” depends on the velocity of money being injected into the system. The more money added to the system, the greater the ability of the media to convince people to trust it, and the feedback loop is completed. With over $100 billion at stake and legal protections cemented into place back in the 1980s, the pharmaceutical companies had no incentive to tell the truth to their customers, while receiving free advertising from both the government and the dirty media to carry their message of “safe & effective” shots.
