#281: Humanzees: Stalins Mutant-Abehær

Åh Abe, åh Abe, gid vi var ligesom dig! 🐵

Måske har du set filmene om "Abernes Planet", hvor aberne udvikler menneskelig intelligens og fører krig mod menneskeheden. Men hvad nu hvis det scenarie var ægte? Sådan tænkte den sovjetiske videnskabsmand og sædentusiast, Ilya Ivanovich Ivanov. Tilbage i 1920'erne kastede han sig nemlig ud i et abeskønt eksperiment med støtte fra Joseph Stalin himself.

Ilya Ivanov ville nemlig krydse mennesker og chimpanser gennem kunstig befrugtning og på den måde skabe en hær af supersoldater, der var 50 % menneske, 50 % abe og 100 % bananas. På den måde kunne han både bevise Darwins evolutionsteori og bekæmpe de vestlige magter med ét smæk.

Tag med os til Guinea, Frankrig og den spæde Sovjetunion, når vi svinger os fra gren til gren med en af historiens mest gale og geniale videnskabsmænd. En mand, der både opfandt de moderne metoder til kunstig insemination, remixede dyr og formåede at wanke en abe til en hjerneblødning...
