Nineteen Eighty-Four by George Orwell is one of the most influential dystopian novels ever written, offering a chilling vision of a future where freedom, truth, and individuality are systematically destroyed by an all-powerful state. His quiet rebellion leads him into a dangerous struggle against a government that seeks not only to control actions but also to dominate the human mind itself. Through its powerful themes of surveillance, censorship, propaganda, and psychological control, Nineteen Eighty-Four remains deeply relevant today.
