The Nikki Glaser Podcast also dropped a huge announcement that could take the Besties on an emotional ride, but Nikki did what she does best: showing her vulnerable side while adding her humor to a big life change. #517 The Glaser Exit

You know you're in a serious relationship when you're talking finances with your partner right before buying a house. While Nikki’s figuring that out, Brian’s talking about trying to open a safe deposit box at the bank. Sean got into trouble for laminating his social security card when he was 17. Nikki recently watched Mr. McMahon on Netflix and now wonders if people lose their empathy when they get rich. Nikki’s all about setting boundaries, and Brian’s a straight shooter. They spill the tea on the dynamics of their writers' room and share some of their favorite moments working on the Globes. For The Final Thought, Nikki hopes her fame is enough currency for her nephews and niece at school. They’re also curious what compliment would actually land with Sean, and Nikki’s hoping the phrase 'Get Out of My Elevator!' becomes a thing.

#516 Nikki 'The Famous Aunt', Writers' Room Moments & 'Get Out of My Elevator!'

Getting stuck at the airport isn't that bad when you’re running on zero sleep. Nikki's just trying to catch up after a crazy weekend. Sean actually loves the hustle and bustle of airports—kinda gives him that New York vibe. Nikki's low-key worried she’s gonna get hit by a zombie car in her neighborhood if she doesn’t get some sleep soon. But honestly, hearing Adam Sandler roll with Nikki’s joke during the Oscars was SO worth being up for 48 hours. Another highlight from this action packed weekend? Nikki got inducted into her high school’s Hall of Fame. And she got to be on Live with Kelly & Mark the morning after the Oscars. Iconic.

Sean and Brian weigh in on what they’d do if they accidentally sent a mean text about someone to that person. They also talk about how the pandemic impacted so many years of their lives. #513 Food Noise, Achieving Greatness & The 72 Hour Hummus

Nikki’s putting off washing her hair as a time-management move—it’s just too much with everything going on. Brian swears Nikki’s the fastest person in the bathroom he’s ever met. Nikki’s downtime is when she’s napping and feels invisible to people who don’t get it. Nikki and Brian are both suspicious of Tom Brady’s nap before his first game. Noa’s been thinking a lot about personal growth and outgrowing your past. Nikki knows nothing lasts forever and is always bracing for the end of her success. She thinks everyone’s maturity gets stuck at the age they were most hurt and plays a guessing game to prove it. After talking about childhood trauma, Nikki gives a shout-out to her current spring/summer entertainment: The White Lotus, definitely the best show rn. Then, they get into a convo about good vs. bad acting, and Nikki keeps the praise going by bringing up her latest obsession, comedian Chris Fleming. Brian shows he’s fun by testing Nikki on some ‘spoonerisms,’ a term she just learned.

#512 Love A Nap, The Maturity Stunted Game & Nikki's Latest Obsessions

Nikki had some of her best crowds over the weekend, and even though she was literally in the middle of nowhere, she still went out and had an awesome time. This morning, though? Not so much—she had to kick off the day with a sizzle reel, and she's definitely feeling it. Brian and Sean are all about supporting her, letting her know she’s already checked something off her "funeral prep" list. Nikki and her openers had an epic time on the road, especially with some wild karaoke nights after her shows. Also, brunch two days in a row? Just what the doctor ordered. On the flip side, Nikki’s a little let down by a travel experience, not quite what she expected. In the Final Thought: imagine a strip club with karaoke... yep, Nikki and her crew found one.

#511 Insane Crowds, So Much Karaoke & Giving Sean The Chill Pill

Nikki and Noa are back at it with the meditation, and Brian is inching his way there. He’s still skeptical, but of course, Nikki’s got a book that might change his mind. Brian’s trying to fix his clenched jaw, and Nikki’s convinced DMT’s the answer. Oh, and if you ever see a woman trying to wrangle three tiny dogs into an elevator, please don’t start yelling at them in a high-pitched voice. Maybe take a sec, hop on Reddit, and learn some empathy instead. Nikki and Brian have both calmly dealt with bugs crawling on them. Nikki shares a story about meeting a NOLA survivor and the lesson he taught her about what to do during a terrorist attack. In the Final Thought, Nikki, who usually thinks people don’t change their minds once they make big decisions, actually had to do that to enjoy her vacation. She also follows up on a message that surprised her on Reddit from yesterday’s pod.

#508 Nikki's Table, Plastic Surgery & A Private Jet Ride!?

Nikki just literally got off a flight with a crew member named Franchie. Brian thinks his last name was due to a mix up at Ellis Island. While NYC was smoked out by a disappearing Canada, Nikki her BFFs and Mom went to see Dave Matthews in an intimate concert. Nikki realizes she is not so into exclusivity especially when it costs her fifty grand. Meeting Dave Matthews on his meet and greet line was well worth it especially if it activates the hormone pellet Nikki got in her butt cheek.
