"I am the Good Shepherd; I pasture my sheep and I lay down my life for them, alleluia." - Ben. antiphon, Lauds

The Good Shepherd can only pasture a sheep that hears and knows his voice. We can grow in knowing and loving God's gentle voice in our lives when we spend time with Him in silent contemplation. May He silence all the voices that drown out His voice, so we may immediately recognize it is Him and follow.
