The setting of the biafram war is really interesting but the novel drags on too long and the main characters are not engaging enough to really care about.

Hun er en inspiration til unge Afrikansk kvinder og læser og jeg har opfrisket min forståelse af Nigeriansk Biafra krig som var forfærdeligt.

Wonderful novel about a difficult and sad time in Nigeria's history - with an amazing story of the opposition and the consequences for everyday life for educated and Village people during the civil war, the Biafra war. SO well narrated!

Ufatteligt smukt, nærmest organisk sprog, vidunderlig oplæsning, gribende fortælling, der på samme tid leder læseren ind hverdagens lille men vigtige trummerum og krigens grusomhed og absurditet som læseren mærker indefra.
