A fun introduction to data science. No jargon, quick to the point, and rather funny. The kind of nonfiction you could take to the beach.

Interesting to see what big data can be used for. Wish it was less focused on USA.

I consider this a book that showcases the extremely usefulness of data that we generate daily, and how contradictory information is, unless is analysed carefully and disseminated efficiently. It is an eye opening introduction into a topic that is increasingly relevant to us as a society, regardless of geography. And makes data science sound attractive. Which is a remarkable feat, in my humble opinion. I would’ve loved to discover this book when I was younger. Oh well. Perhaps back then I would have been amongst those 93% of people who never finish a book, as Seth mentions.
