Í skaldsøguni Alheimsins einglar býr frásøgumaðurin Páll á sinnissjúkrahúsi. Páll skal eitast at vera svakur, men tá ið samanum kemur, er hann kanska ikki stórt galnari enn øll tey, sum laga seg eftir einum vitleysum samfelag.Inn í frásøgnina hjá Pálli verða flættaðar søgur og lagnur hjá mongum av teimum, sum hann hittir á leiðini.

In the novel "The Angels of the Universe" the narrator Páll lives in a mental hospital. Páll is supposed to be insane but when all comes to all he may not be any worse off than all those conforming to an insane society. The stories and fates of many of the people Páll meets are woven into the narrative.
